Welcome to the information site for the Mobile App, iScaleModel, this App was produced to help Model enthusiasts with the conversion of scale, both up and down, in either metric or imperial.
The idea for this app was provided by Dave Thornton, this simple app was created to quickly work out the scale of a given measurement.
The addition of either metric or imperial measurements was a simple and logical addition. During production the slider was proving problematic, it was hard to select a specific scale to convert, this was overcome with the addition of some fine-tuning buttons.
Also by expanding the slider to the full width of the screen, we hope to provide a higher likelihood of getting the scale you required.
Future versions will allow the conversion of a metric or imperial size to a scaled up or down result, in the same or different unit of measure.

Version 3.0.0 was released to upgrade using the Flutter Framework which provides a single code base for both iOS and Android mobile apps.
